Problems in Mesopotamia

It is 3500 BCE and I am in Mesopotamia. The problem settling in Sumer is the water. Where I am trying to live the land is located in the low plains called Mesopotamia. Mesopotamia means the land between two rivers. The two rivers are called Tigris and Euphrates Rivers.

The water supply is uncontrollable in Mesopotamia. The farmers are having a difficult time because they cannot control the water. The rain floods into the two rivers and they overflow. All the water destroys the crops.
